An award-winning, senior housing development, Franklin Gardens is located in Austin, Texas. Franklin Garden provides 22 units of rental housing for low-income seniors. The project was developed with the Chestnut Neighborhood Revitalization Corporation.
The Palms on Lamar
Located on North Lamar Boulevard in Austin, Texas, The Palms on Lamar was a 476 unit rehabilitation project that includes permanent supportive housing in partnership with Front Steps, a local non-profit. At closing, The Palms was the largest Tax Credit exchange deal in the United States.
This redevelopment of a mid-century downtown highrise turned a vacant historic building into two levels of luxury condos, two levels of offices, 209 supportive housing units, and ground-floor retail. Creatively financed with the help of both new market and historic tax credits, Citywalk@Akard is still providing needed affordability in downtown Dallas while revitalizing the area and repurposing an existing building.
